Prototypical collaborated with Jessica Carter Altman — singer, attorney, and daughter of Lynda Carter — to design and develop her website and promotional art campaigns.
The ask
When Jessica approached us with the task of creating her debut album art, we were thrilled at the prospect of dusting off our print design caps. We love digital design, but there’s something special about the permanence of print. We worked closely with Jessica to create physical and digital cover art as well as promo pieces.
However, our time together didn’t stop there — we then went on to develop a single-page website for fans and curious concert-goers. Site users can stream her songs and receive multimedia and concert updates, keeping everyone in the loop.
What began as an album cover project for Jessica Carter Altman expanded to a full-scale multimedia website.
The work
Inspired by the larger-than-life chanteuse herself, the striking black-and-white self-portraits take center stage in all promotional work. We crafted the minimal designs on purpose to put the focus on the artist — Jessica.
