The ask
Starbird Chicken, a Bay Area-based fast-casual restaurant, wanted to create a website and relaunch its brand. The stakeholders from their parent company, The Culinary Edge, sought a digital experience to represent Starbird’s brand mission and narrative.

The work
As a technology-forward brand, Starbird needed a website that reflected its values and an online experience that spoke to their Bay Area consumers. We built the site using Webflow for an efficient launch. It allowed for a flexible, expansive design architecture that could grow with the business.
Our combined efforts established clear goals and objectives for the site and outlined a customer journey that effectively translated the in-person experience into the digital landscape. We viewed the digital space as an extension of the physical, so we drew inspiration from restaurant designs.
With this foundation in place, we created a roadmap for the next iteration of the site and the organization’s sister brands. We designed and launched the site in five months. Since the launch, we’ve enjoyed working with Starbird on various projects within the organization's sub-brands. This included a Starbird Franchise initiative that initially covered an entire site and later transitioned into a page on the main site.
The result
Our work with Starbird is ongoing and has blossomed into our favorite type: a partnership. Our ongoing upgrades to the site’s user experience across devices have contributed to significant brand growth and improved accessibility.
